All the resources tell you that running a marathon is not just about running but it's about core strength. I'm back training with George with the sole focus on the core. I had forgotten the intensity of his PT sessions and whilst boot camp comes a close second there's no hiding here, giving it everything, muscles and brain screaming in resistance but deep down knowing that the benefits will come later. I left the gym feeling drained physically but it felt good to be back.
No bootcamp yesterday as I was in Birmingham for the day but need to get a minimum of 10km running in today. I was supposed to do the marathon bus this morning but slept through so have to make up for it later.
